In Jan 2020, Minister Heather Humphreys announced a €28 million  Border Region Stimulus package aimed at assisting border counties Louth, Monaghan, Cavan, Leitrim, Donegal, Sligo manage the challenges  business in these regions faced as a result of Brexit. Aimed at mitigating the impact of Brexit, this package included the development of programmes tailored to tackle the key challenges Border Businesses were facing. These programmes, divided into 5 key areas were designed to help traders develop key capabilities and build resilience in these areas of competencies.

The programmes are now up and running and we are  recruiting Louth Businesses to take part in this opportunity to identify new markets, develop new skills and build long and short term strategies to navigate their way through the current challenges ahead in the business landscape.
